From looking at the image, I loved how it was so simple. The dress, the pose. None of it was over the top, and I wanted to keep with that for this piece. I have felt with some of my recent vexels I have gone too far with transistion layers, so I tried to be cautious of them with this.
I think the perls tiggered a 30's feel for me, I know they are still pretty popular now but my head just thinks that way. I played with the original refrence photo to make it a little more vintage, and went on from there. (: |
